Update for Sygic mobile maps for Maemo

Sygic released an update for their Mobile Maps for Maemo to version: V7.71

it seems that they are still working on the only available turn-by-turn navigation for the Maemo platform on N900.

 

 

now that i nearly finished my review about Sygic's Mobile Maps for N900, they released an update...

 

 

Now let's see what we've got here:

 

 

 

 

Sygic Mobile Maps is available for Symbian OS, Windows Mobile and Adroid.

 

For Maemo the turn-by-turn navigation software costs from 39.99 EUR to 59.99 EUR depending on the selected region. goto Sygic to get more details.

here is a a howto update Sygic Mobile Maps:

 

 

you have to add a new catalog to your catalog-list in App-Manager on N900.

UPDATE 2:

 

here a small changelog:

  • - Sygic Mobile Maps starts in Full Screen mode
  • - auto rotation is activated for portrait mode
  • - GPS lock fixed: should find satellites much faster

here is the official changelog:

  • 1. autorotation to one side
  • 2. fullscreen
  • 3. fixed issues when Portuguese language was set
  • 4. position display improved
  • 5. gps connection stays alive when the app is in the background, so that you can
  •     use other apps and have navigation running in the background

How do I update?...

Was this an update for only the Europe version? I have yet to get an update for my US version of Sygic.

you have to add a new catalog in App Manager and hit update.

actualy i have still no changelog, but i'm on it.
