Nokia N900 and HTML5

Now that we are all waiting for the firmware update for N900 PR1.2, i'd like to know, if there are some improvements with the MicroB browser.

don't get me wrong, the browser experience on N900 is awsome. this is the best browser for mobile phones ever imho, but there are still some bugs to fix or features to implement into it.

when you do the ACID3 test with N900, you'll get some score like: 92/100.

if you perform the test on a MS Vista Maschine with IE8 (up to date) you'll get 20.

but what about some future? what about CSS3 or HTML5?

Niels Leenheer has developed a html5test where you can test your browser running HTML5 and if your browser is prepared for the future.

On N900 it you'll get this:

i hope we'll get more performance on that with PR 1.2 or even with MeeGo in May :-)
