according to allaboutsymbian and symbianworld a new firmware for N97 is released. current version: V22.0.110

the new firmware should be available via OTA now or NSU in a few days.

here is a list with some changes and new features:

• - Maps 3.3 with free Navigation
• - Default screen brightness raised to 75%
• - Default theme now the jet black 'Nseries 2', giving longer battery life than the previous 'Nseries 3'
• - RAM optimisations
• - Contacts performance improvement
• - Miscellaneous bug fixes
• - some UI changes and fixes
