I was waiting for a proper turn-by-turn navigation App like million years or since the Nokia N900 was realeased...

UPDATE:

Looks like Sygic has managed to include the the NASA Maps for North, Central & South America called "US" for the turn-by-turn navigation software for N900. The maps for US are coming with a 49.99 Euro (ca. 68 USD) tag.
