Thanks to neopeek.com we are able to see what the current MeeGo look like atm. i looks like MeeGo 0.90, but the package is named to MeeGo 1.0 preview... :-)

 

there images are available as Qemu 283MB or ISO 408 MB.  i've downloaded the ISO file and installed it into a virtual machine ( i used Virtual PC )...

actually it looks like MeeGo 0.90 in vehicle with xfce 4 and 2.6.33 kernel.

it's nothing special yet, because the Qt UI is not implemented and some basic features are missing, but as you can see here the development teams are very productive these days. rumors say the final version for all devices like netbooks and handsets: N900will be released around Computex 2010 in first Week of june 2010.

let's hope it will be much better then the already impressive demo at IDF from Intel on a netbook:
